Chhajer Packaging founded in Jalgaon. First order: BOPP adhesive tape for a local textile mill.
- 1994Commercial production at MIDC K-2
Manufacturing commences at K-2 MIDC plant. Kamal Kumar Sethia joins as Accounts Head.
- 2004Flexible packaging line commissioned
Production of laminated rolls begins. Tarachand Nai joins as Production Head, Flexibles.
- 2008Chhajer Surgicals founded
Sister company Chhajer Surgicals Pvt. Ltd. established — medical-grade adhesive extension.
- 2010New production unit opens
Footprint doubled. Dedicated capacity added to handle growing flexible-packaging demand.
- 2013Abhay Dasture joins
Abhay Dasture joins as Production Head, BOPP Tapes. 13+ years on the line today.
- 2019Third-generation leadership
Mudit Gujrani appointed Managing Director & CEO.
- 2020First boiler installed
Boiler No. 1 commissioned to support continuous three-shift operation.
- 2021Dedicated BOPP slitting line
New slitting line exclusive to BOPP tape — sub-millimetre width tolerance, lower reject rate.
- 2024Three major upgrades in one year
8-colour rotogravure press, cantilever slitter, and new pouch machine — all installed to meet new-age pouch demands.
- 2025Portfolio diversification
Expansion into spout pouches, shrink sleeves, and barrier-film verticals.
- 2026Boiler No. 3 commissioned
Steam capacity sized for full-load three-shift operation across both lines with redundancy.
